As you have probably figuared out I have hypoglycemia. I don’t have diabetes. I would like to know the too high, too low, and normal blood sugar ranges thank a bunch.

im having a blood glucose test tommorrow for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
and vitamin deficiencies and anemia
the test is in about 6-8 hours time
and about an hour ago i was stupid enough to eat an ice cream and a can of cold tea do you think that could affect the tests and should i go on another day instead??
thanks…
im such an a dumba$$ oops!
hey kittyrogers i dont mind admiting i forgot and was a bit stupid to eat the ice cream! I dont mind laughing at myself and calling myself a duma$$ cz i know that in actual fact im far from a dumb ass most of the time :P

I know these numbers are a bit higher. My question is, Can i control my diabetes with diet and exercise or should i go on medicine, most diabetes meds i have used has all caused me to go into hypoglycemia, so im very worried abt going on any meds. Please suggest/comment.

Thanks

I’ve been recently diagnosed with hypoglycemia (unknown cause, waiting for an appointment) meanwhile I’m testing my blood before dinner and 1 hour after i eat. what does that mean if my blood test always shows the drop in the level after I eat (for example, 111 before food and 87 after)?

I was just diagnosed with hypoglycemia and is just curious to see if anyone knows if you need a glucose tester (like one that pricks your fingertips) for hypoglycemia.

Oh and I am going to the doctor next week, but I was just wondering if anyone knew on here.

I am a 30 year old male and the past 2 years i have noticed that i have symptoms associated with hypoglycemia. this week on 2 separate occasions, my sugar was 50, and 59 when i noticed the symptoms occurring. I had not eaten in 7-8 hours and had 3 cups of coffee with 2 sugars & 2 creams on both occasions.

I have all of the following, Hypoglycemia, cold hands/cold feet, average daily temperature 97.7 and low appetite. what blood test should my docotor due to detect a problem?

I’m 15 and I have hypoglycemia, meaning low blood sugar. I checked my blood sugar and it was 60, is that in the normal range?

After having several episodes of rather unpleasant hypoglycemia ‘attacks’,
Ive decided to see how high my levels are after eating and was wondering whens the best time to test?

An hour is it? Just want to make sure :)
Im eating cod chips and mushy peas.

And yes i know i should see a doctor, but ive just moved away and havnt yet registered.

Thanks in advance.

I have been looking at the little machines for testing blood sugar and also the visual test strips like betachek visual. Can I use either of these for testing or hypoglycemia as I keep getting symptoms of it?

I have had blood sugar tested before at the docs and it was normal, but my symptoms seem to come on with exercise. I especially notice it in the city walking around a lot. So I was thinking I need to test blood suger then rather than in a doctor’s surgery. Thanks
