I took a home Glucose blood test prior to breakfast (home diabetes test) Results was in the 60’s mg/dl (clearly below 75 and above 50) –

** Is that good, or is that something I need to watch? **

Because I am self employed & not w/a group insurance I don’t want any test results on my medical record.
I don’t take any type of meds. I have never had any type of diagnostic. This was a self home test where you match the colors. This was before breakfast and results was clearly somewhere mid point between 75mg/dl and 50mg/dl (in the 60’s). So I wondered if a fasting test, wtih that score was good or what. I do have a very sweet tooth. I am trying to save money by not going to the doctor & I don’t want any negitive results on my perm medical record.
This was a test to see if I could have Diabetes. My reading of these results would be no I do not. My next test will be a cholestrial test.

I need to find a place that is giving free diabetes test.

Thanks!

how do you make your diabetes test normal so the doctor will think they made a mistake in diagnosis?
i dont want to be diabetic but i want to get doc off my back about sorting it as i cant face talking bout bulimia how do i make blood sugar normal or low to convince her shes wrong and to leave me alone.

I want to get a diabetes test just to make sure that I am in good health, but i am uninsured so a need a testing clinic for free. so if anyone know any in chicago please post. also my zipcode is 60651 so some in the area will be great and that you so much for the postings.

Today was the 3rd time I have tested for sugar in my urine.. Today was actually a (+) whatever that means..

My midwife had me to take the diabetes test which I am not suppose to take until 2 mos. from now, actually I would still have to take it then. I’m just worried has anyone ever tested positive for diabetes while pregnant. If so what was the outcome and how did it affect you…

Also, has anyone ever had sugar in their urine but after the blood test it was negative for diabetes. I’m just nervous and worried

would it be werid if when i get a check-up at the doctors i randomly ask for a diabetes test? Its just that now whenever i eat, i am hungry and i eat a little more and im still hungry, and also i am kinda thirsty alot, but idk if its just because i am growing, i am 12, 13 in a month. so is it weird? because i feel embarassed having to explain why i need one, please tell me what you think i should do. also i read that you go to the bathroom to go #1 alot, by alot, how many times a day do you mean about?

I’m having a Gest. Diabetes test done at 24 1/2 weeks. I wanted to find out if this is a normal time to get tested and if I need to fast before. My doctor is away and can’t ask him.

Hi…

Them diabetes test kits you can get from boots… Do they actually work??

I got a diabetes test done earler in the week and had the FPG test and the OGTT Test done. In the FPG test I got a reading of 116, and then after I drank that liquid which is the OGTT test I got a reading of 86. What does this mean? I know that since I am between 100-126 for the FPG test that says I am pre-diabetic, but for the OGTT test I am supposed to be between 140-199 to be considered a pre-diabetic. I am worried so can someone please help me. THANKS!!

I’m going for a diabetes test and am concerned that certain foods and drinks could show a false positive.
