I just started going to a new doctor, and I had blood tests done to check my blood glucose and chloroestrol (sp). I had my blood drawn over 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything back. How long does these test usually take, and do I have to call the office or will they mail something?

I have type 2 diabetes and today when I checked by blood sugar it was 135. I went for a brisk walk for about 15 min. and when I re checked my blood sugar it went down to 87

i’m 17. my grandmother had type 1 diabetes. but that’s all i know of. my doctor gave me a fasting blood test and the lab results came in and my fasting (8 hours without eating) glucose level was 100. i go back in tuesday for a follow up. should i get another test done? it said abormal and 100 H (high) on the page. i had symptoms of diabetes so that’s why i went to get tested. and the normal range is 70-99. so what should i do?
i’m average weight. about 140. 5′9".

i evercise almost daily for about 30 minutes.

Does this mean I’m diabetic?

my ankles and wrists are swollen and my blood sugar level is 238, how dangerous is this. I also have high blood pressure.

2 years ago i got all the symptoms of diabetes but the blood glucose test were fine, my symptoms get better but now i have them again.
Do you think it s possible that i got diabetes in the meantime

I’ve been worried about my blood sugar since i have a history of diabetes in my family,im over weight and im trying to loose the weight at this point in my life.Im hoping someone could let me know if this is considered high,my blood sugar has been between 103 and 110 in the am the last few days with no symptoms,should i worry? At the moment i have no insurance to see a doctor.
