Some doctors use 1 hour blood glucose test with a target of less than 130. Others use 2 hour test with a target of less than 120.
What will be the impact if my blood sugars are around 160 to 170 after one hour and around or little less than 120 after two hours?

I have a malamute mix that can tell if my blood sugar is going low. He isn’t a service dog, but if he feels I’m going too low (sometimes I’m too busy to tell) he’ll do his best to knock me over or he’ll whine and "talk" (for those of you who have huskies or malamutes, you know what I’m talking about ) until I stop, check my blood sugar, and fix it. Do any of you have similar stories?

I know cinnamon, vinegar, or alcohol can reduce blood sugars. I took a friends advice and tried a spoonful of coconut oil. You can spread it on a piece of bread and eat it that way. But it does work ! Just look up coconut oil and there is a lot of good health qualities by using it !! Good Luck. It will help to lower blood sugars. Just make sure to test before and after to see how much you should take.

I have had problems with low blood sugar for several years. Last week I felt jittery and thought it a good idea to test my fasting blood sugar. It was 171. Later that afternoon it spiked at 237. Three hours later 113 then an hour after that 173. My eating habits are the same as they always are. I am very tired and keep having horrible bouts of excessive sweating. Could this be a sign of diabetes? There is a lot of family history with it.

Some doctors say it is to be taken after having break fast and some others say it should be done after having regular lunch, Which one is correct?

About 2 hours post eating sweets, non insulin dependent DM.
Is this too high? I know the normal is 70-110, but when does the blood glucose level become dangerous?

just to brace myself for the future will the Dr. beable to do anthing for her or is she to old she justgot a permanent drain put in her lung and the dr believes it has spread to her ovaries and other parts…

i have an appointment tomorrow to do the gestational diabetes testing..today i drank a soda, and im craving another sprite right now
is there anything i can do so my glucose level will be fine??
